Thanks for joining our group of
special gardeners who have come to appreciate Heirloom vegetables and are
helping to save and share the great diversity of nature which is being
increasingly threatened by the use of hybrid varieties that have better profit
potential for commercial growers. Too bad the rubbery hybrids can't complete
with the flavor and beauty of the heirlooms.
We are planning a monthly
newsletter and a state by state growing guide with members' growing results
(victories and defeats), as well as growing tips and recipes.
